A prenatal paternity test that is non-invasive allows for the determination of the father’s identity before the birth of the baby. During the mother’s pregnancy, fetal cells present in her blood sample are utilized to establish the DNA profile of the unborn child. Subsequently, this profile is compared with the DNA profile of the potential father, which can be obtained through a simple mouth swab. In cases where a mouth swab is not feasible, alternative samples such as fingernail clippings ( 5โ10), cigarette butts (2), or ear swabs(2) can be processed for the potential father’s DNA. A comprehensive report is then generated to ascertain whether the individual tested is indeed the biological father or not. The DNA paternity test is available as early as 7 weeks gestation, making it the earliest option for determining paternity. Receive results in just 3 to 7 days. This test is not intended for: Multiple fetuses (twins, triplets, etc.), Surrogacy (egg donor, or in vitro fertilization) or Alleged Fathers who are related (unless both fathers test)
